How to store a decorated theme cake overnight?!

Question: How to store a decorated theme cake overnight?
I'm making a theme cake for tomorrow afternoon and it includes several different elements, a six layer cake iced with cream cheese icing {mountain}, a pavlova meringue just plain {snowdrift}, and rice crispy treat covered with marshmallow cream and chocolate candy stones {ski chalet}. I will be decorating with candy sticks, lollipops and different kinds of candies.
It's too big to go into the fridge and too big to be covered with a bowl.

Can I assemble, decorate then cover it lightly with foil and keep in a cold cupboard overnight?

Will it keep well that way and be safe for eating?

Maybe... but with that cream cheese icing, it would be safer to keep it refrigerated. Have you considered making your own "cooler"? You could put your cake in a plastic storage bin surrounded by plastic tupperware containers filled with ice. Put the lid on the bin to keep it nice and cool. If you put your homemade cooler in a place where it won't be disturbed, none of the containers should come in contact with the cake. I would probably still put that foil loosely on top- would create even more insulation.

I would wrap it as best you can....And then I would store it in the coldest place you have..If you have a place outside like a shed or garage..if that is the case...then after you have wrapped it ...put it in a large garbage bag to protect it...I do this during the holidays when I run out of room in the fridge...

Good luck...

Sounds like an awesome cake....
