In the past weddings that I have attended they have a variety of fish in fact the whole table at midnight was based on fish Cod ,to lobster and shrimp, mind you fish is very expensive so it all depends on your budget .
salmon and tilapia are the most popular of wedding seafood dishes. seared scallops are better though.
Most often it would be salmon, but I would prefer Sea-run Trout.
Salmon/smoked salmon.
