do instant lasagna sheets?!

Question: Do instant lasagna sheets?
do instant lasagna sheets need to be cooked in boiling water before layering in the baking pan with sauces and cheeses?

Answers:

At my job (I'm a chef), we make our lasagna with raw pasta straight out of the box. It's easy.

First put some of the sauce on the bottom of a lightly greased casserole/lasagna baking dish. Then put one layer of lasagna noodles down. More Sauce, don't be stingy. Then it's either your meat or spinach or mushrooms or zuchinni or whatever you want. Then your cheeses (ricotta, parmesan, mozzerella) then more sauce, another layer of pasta, more sauce. Keep repeating until the pan is almost full. Finish with cheese on top. Make sure to use enough sauce to cook the noodles. Cover with foil and cook in the oven at 425 F for about an hour...turn oven down to 325 F and let sit and finish cooking for half an hour and Voila! It's Magnifico!

Instant ones will say No Boil on the package somewhere and my favorite are the Barilla ones, just be sure you have enough sauce in the dish, because since they are dry they tend to absorb a little bit more sauce than if you were using cooked lasagna noodles.

No, they do not. Look at the back of package next time you run across one.
