Baking Shortbread - My measuring scale doesnt work.... help pleaseee?!

Question: Baking Shortbread - My measuring scale doesnt work.... help pleaseee?
Ok so I need to measure the ingredients but my scales dont work like at all :/
Can somebody please tell me what these following measurments would be in teaspoons or desert spoons or cup size etc or any other way I can measure them out without scales:

125g/4oz butter
55g/2oz Caster sugar
180g/6oz Plain Flour

thankyou in advance xxx

Answers:

DRY INGREDIENTS:

a (tea)cup is half a pound.
4 oz is therefore half a cup
or 8 tablespoons i.e. 1 tablespoon is half an ounce.

So you will need:

BUTTER: half cup of butter or simply cut 1/2 pound pack of butter in half like you usually do!?
SUGAR: four table spoons sugar
FLOUR: one cup minus four tablespoons or twelve table spoons

Measurements always mean a "level" whatever... spoons, cups, etc. unless stated otherwise.
Good luck! And next time you see one of those old fashioned granny-scales at a car boot sale, buy it! They never go wrong or run out of batteries! LOL!

My Mum and her Mum (my Gran)!

There are two tablespoons in an ounce and three teaspoons make up a tablespoon.

Enjoy!

Just to clarify M. Is that tablespoon level, rounded or heaped? That's the problem I always have.
