Should I use Milk or Dark chocolate for chocolate-covered strawberries?!

Question: Should I use Milk or Dark chocolate for chocolate-covered strawberries?
Which will taste better, dark chocolate or white? I'll be making them for a bunch of teenagers in my class, so I definitely want them to taste like something that teens are going to like...

I'm leaning towards milk chocolate, because I think that'll make them taste sweeter. If I do use milk, what should I look for in the stores. I usually only see semisweet, bittersweet, etc.

My teenagers voted for milk chocolate. You can get milk chocolate chips in the baking aisle or just melt Hershey Bars with a small amount of shortening or clarified butter (1-2 Tbsp per 6 oz chocolate) to help it melt better and give a nice sheen to the finished product.

You're going to want to use dipping chocolate, specifically, as that will give you better results.
And most teenagers I know wouldn't dislike dark chocolate if it's not too, too dark. Semisweet should be easy to find and that's the normal chocolate used in chocolate chip cookies, so they should like it, too! Milk chocolate should be available too.
Enjoy!

I would like the contrast with the dark best, but since it is for kids, they'll probably enjoy milk better, like you said.
