What is the minimum number of recipes a person should make before reviewing a cookbook?!

Question: What is the minimum number of recipes a person should make before reviewing a cookbook?
It is important when reviewing a cookbook on Amazon.com or other websites that the reviewer has actually made some of the recipes in it. But what do you consider the minimum number of recipes one should make before publishing their review? Or do you have some other guideline you prefer, such as one recipe from each section?

Answers:

Good question!
I believe having done 3 or 4 recipes is enough to have a sound opinion.
It is important to read all the recipes and think about them.
Some experience cooks can even review a cookbook succesfully
without cooking even one recipe.
All the best

Reviewing a cookbook does not depend solely on how well the recipes work. Your review should also take into consideration these following things:
How well is the cookbook laid out?
How good and how helpful are the photographs?
Do the photographs make the food look appetizing?
Does the cookbook have an index, a table of contents, and how helpful are those?
Is it easy to find a recipe you want to use?
Are the recipes written clearly, and are they easy to follow?
Are there any "extras" included in the book, like a chart of cooking times for meat, a U.S. to Metric conversion chart etc.?
Would you recommend this book to a friend?
