Cheeseburger cake topping ideas?!
I'm making a cake that looks like a cheeseburger and I need to know what I can use to make the tomatoes and pickles. I already used icing and fondant for the ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and cheese. I don't really want anything fruity tasting to use, because it won't taste good with the chocolate cake I used for the burger. What can I use for the tomatoes and pickles?

All the cakes I've seen have used either royal icing or fondant for all the toppings. You may be able to fashion a tomato slice or pickle out of cookies or griddle cakes but you would still need to add icing to make it look like the veggies.
Well it seems to me that colored fondant is the best choice, but if you want something else, maybe you could try getting some red and green cookies and slapping them on their for a really cakey dessert.
