Beef blood for iron deficient anemia? Would it work? Is it safe?!
I'm just assuming that beef blood is loaded with iron like ours is supposed to be. Can anyone confirm that? What about b vitamins? How much does it need to be cooked to remove threats, without damaging the needed nutrients? How much is the right amount compared to eating 1 lb of steak per day?
PS, I'm not a fetishist, and I'm not into vampires, I just want to cut down my grocery costs in favor of rent, and heat. Thanks for your help.
(I got the idea from blood sausage, but don't have much info on it, aside that there is some kind of blood in it, and it is loaded with iron and other nutrients.)

Beef isn't the only source of iron. Blackstrap molasses is a good iron supplement, and eating a lot of green leafy vegetables also is. Eggs, alfalfa sprouts. Vitamin C is supposed to help absorption of iron supplements.
If nothing alleviates the symptoms, you should make an appointment with a nutritionist.
yes, it is just as good in iron value as beef is. But here is another idea!! How much spinach salad are you eating?? Bananas?? there are lots of foods, natural foods, you could be eating in addition to beef.

Yeah it's probably ok if you cook it but, you should probably just try taking iron pills. Ask your doctor what you should do for your anemia.
