how to make tuna after you drain the can?!

Question: How to make tuna after you drain the can?
i know that you open the can but what to do after that its my moms birthday and she loves tuna

Answers:

You open the can, drain the juice and empty the can into a bowl, you add some mayo - start with a tablesppon and mix. Keep adding small amounts of mayo until it is the consistency that you wish it to be. Then add a few drops of mustard in to it. Toast two pieces of bread and when they are toasted cover one with lettuce and then spoon on the tuna salad and top with tomatoes onion or cheese or all of the above.

what do you want to make, tuna salad? it's very easy but one problem is that everyone likes it different. the next problem is that hardly anyone uses a recipe. you just throw in what "looks right".

first of all, are you using a small can or a large can? if the small can then be careful not to add too much or you won't be able to taste the tuna.

i'll suggest some things and you can decide what you want to put in it. whatever you put in it needs to be chopped up very finely. this is approximate measurements for the large can.

2 - 3 boiled eggs
1- 2 stalks celery
1- 2 tablespoons mild onion or green onion
1 tablespoon pickle relish, sweet or dill
2 -3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard
salt and pepper to taste

taste it then add more of whatever you think it needs.

Hi You could add Mayo to it with a dash of lemon and some spring onions (scallions) finely chopped. served with a salad, Or for a hot dish cook some pasta shapes, mix in the tuna in large chunks add some cream and mix gently top with some grated cheddar type cheese and bake in a medium oven until the cheese has melted and is nicely browned on top, served with crusty warmed bread. I hope this helps, all the best. Rab

Hold the top on the can and rinse the tuna (but not so forcefully that you lose all the tuna) and then squeeze the water out with the lid. You may also use a colander (like for spaghetti noodles) to rinse the tuna. Then take small handfuls and squeeze it dry. Then place into a bowl and make whatever you had in mind.

it depends on ur preferrences. i'm a simple kind of person so i just use mayonaise aond relish but itf there's anything else u like feel free to throw it in there. just put the tuna in a bowl and mix in the mayonaise. make sure to do so in small increments unless ur a huge mayonaise fun, cuz you dont wants it all gross and gloopy. once you feel you have enough mayonaise put the relish in a little bit at a time. too much relish can give it a weird taste that i dont kno how to describe. i sometimes throw in a pinch of pepper too. make sure to taste it when you think you're done to make sure it's alright and it it doesn't taste ryt, use ur judgement to dicern whats missing

I don't understand what you are asking. The tuna is already made, it is fish. You can get recipes and make different dishes with the tuna, is that what you want? You can make tuna salad, or tuna casserole... If you let us know what specific dish you want to make, we can offer recipes.

Tuna what? Sandwich, salad, casserole?

tuna noodle casserole
