Yes indeed. it is better without cream - for me the cream spoils it!
Use dry non fat plain yoghurt
To dry simply clip a cheesecloth to a large pasta drainer,make sure the liquid particles can fall into a bowl.
Leave this overnight in the fridge and you should have a great substitute. You can leave tjis longer for a thicker consistency.
I don't like the cream. No sour cream on my nachos, either.
