How to cook drumsticks that do not smell like raw meat?!

Question: How to cook drumsticks that do not smell like raw meat?
Everytime I cook drumsticks they smell like raw meat with blood. It tastes disgusting to me, since I do not know how to cook. Is there any way to cook drumsticks without smelling like raw meat afterward? I do not plan to use the oven, only stove. Please help me out.

Answers:

Are you frying or boiling the drumsticks?

Frying - you need a lot of oil and you need it turned up high to heat up the oil. To get it from smelling raw you need to mix your batter and beat an egg to get the batter to stick to the drumsticks. Then fry it for 2-3 minutes. Use thawed drumsticks.

For boiling - just drop the drumsticks in hot boiling water. Season with salt and pepper. For boiling, it will take about 1 hour or until the meat is tender and practically falling from the bone.

Using the oven to bake the drumsticks is actually easy to do. To bake, line the drumsticks on a baking sheet. Swipe olive oil on the drumstick, salt and pepper, add a bit of butter. And bake for 25 minutes at 425 degrees. It will be done when you poke the meat with a knife and clear liquid spills thru. If you still see blood then it's not fully cooked.

sounds like you are not getting the meat cooked next to the bone.
use a pan small enough to crowd the legs. Use a top and cook slowly so as not to burn, but cook the meat all the way through to the bone.
Once it is cooked, you can turn up the heat and take off the top to brown them some more.

Assuming you have fresh meat, then I'm guessing you don't know about herbs & spices.
Start with salt & pepper, at least get some poultry spice to sprinkle on them before cooking.

Give it your own special blend of herbs and spices, put some cream on it maybe your girl friend/boyfriend (or maybe both) can help you.
