Healthier substitution for white sugar?!

Question: Healthier substitution for white sugar?
I don't eat a lot of sugar, but sometimes I need to use some.

But white sugar is just so unhealthy that I feel bad using it, even in small doses.

Does anyone have a healthier substitution idea for white sugar? And maybe some knowledge rather than just opinion?

Please don't suggest Splenda, I'm not big on putting chemicals into my body.

Thanks.

Answers:

honey is a natural product. it doesn't turn to fat as easily in your body as sugar does. its a very good substitute. I use it in many recipes instead of sugar. it also depends on what you are making though. good luck!

Depends on what you are making. For some recipes you can substitute honey, other times you can use fruit, jelly or jam. There's product called "sugar in the raw" which isn't as refined as regular granulated white sugar, but for health purposes it is digested and metabolized just like white sugar.

You could go to Honey. The darker, do to pollen content the better. Lighter is sweeter. Or licorice. The wolds sweetest substance. So little is used. Beech sugar is good. No tooth decay with it. Very expensive to use. But doable.

honey

Yeah I agree. Honey is the best substitute.
