PERSONAL EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!
If its homemade,you have to soak/put raw eggs in a water and salt ratio should be 2:4 (2 cups sea salt/rock salt 4 cups water,*its an example and you can put salt as you like) then have it soak for days upto a week or so,then after that,th eggs are ready for boiling.can use duck eggs or chicken eggs.
Made it as school project way back highschool.
