Can you leave cream cheese frosting?!

Question: Can you leave cream cheese frosting?
Answers:

If preparing it ahead of time, you can store it in the fridge, tightly covered for a day or two. You will have to bring it close to room temperature and probably beat on low speed until it becomes spreadable, if you're planning on frosting a cake etc. It the cake is already frosted with the cream cheese frosting, put it in a plastic cake carrier or cake box covered with aluminum foil and it should last about 5-6 days in the refrigerator.

Where are you thinking of leaving it???????????
