I used to have an eating disorder when I was young. My issue was control, rather than fear of being fat, but it's all the same in the end.

The thing that worked for me was yogurt. Get a live culture type, one of the natural or health food types (maybe the fruit on bottom) that has less ingredients than one of the big brands. They will have less added sugar, so it will be easier to eat it. The advantages: i found dairy to be soothing to the stomach, the live cultures will help your digestion straighten out, and it's pretty nutritious. Also it was a nice small portion for a serving, so finishing one felt like a victory.

If you're worried about nutrition while you're struggling to eat, think about fruits and vegetables. I'm sure you've heard a thousand times about green leafy vegetables-spinach, kale, etc...but they are powerhouses & lowfat, even sauteed with a little bit of olive oil. Avocados are highly nutritious....eat half of one with a sprinkle of salt & squeeze of lime. Keep some apples around.

Finally, eggs for your protein. Hard-boil them & keep in fridge for snack. Whites are pure protein & little flavor, yolks are nutritious too, have the flavor but also the sodium etc. Or, do an omelet - and if you are worried about the sins found in the yolks, take 1/2 (NOT ALL, you need some of it) of the yolks out when whipping up the eggs.
