How do you know when glass is safe for hot liquids?!


Question: How do you know when glass is safe for hot liquids?
I want to mix hot cocoa in this big glass container I have. how do you know which glass containers can withstand high temperature liquids and which cant.

If the glass is rated for hot liquids it will say so on the piece somewhere. Eliminate any doubt and use Pyrex

If Glass is thin as finger nail its for cold liquids, vice versa its for hot liquid
