Milk or Semi-Sweet Cholate chips for Choc. Chip Cookie recipe!?!

Question: Milk or Semi-Sweet Cholate chips for Choc. Chip Cookie recipe!?
Please help me I can not decide.
I have Hersheys- milk chocolate chips b/c nestle was all out.
Than I have semi sweeet Nestle Toll house ones.
Which ones should i use in my recipe for chocolate chip cookies or should i do 1/2 and 1/2?
Please Help! I'm in the process of making them as we speak!

Answers:

I would use a combo. I normally do because I like the sweetness of milk chocolate and the richness of semisweet chocolate. you can use either, though. milk chocolate chips result in a sweeter cookie, semisweet result in a richer, more chocolatey cookie.

Milk chocolate gives a sweeter cookie and semi-sweet add a very strong flavour that can compliment the cookie.
Here's the trick. you can add both (more milk than semi though) to compliment it.
I also recommend adding so "Skor pieces" into your cookies. This gives it an amazing flavour that blends well with both chocolate choices and compliments the flavours of the butter too - plus it allows your cookie to hold together better! :)

use both!

and add more than the recipe says

This is what I do for my Christmas cookies and people RAVE about them

(I also take them out of the oven before they turn golden, they're all cooked but they're soft and creamy instead of crunchy)

Who's gonna eat 'em? If for mostly kids-milk, for mostly adults-dark

aaaaaaaand, if they are for you, which type do you eat? milk chocolate or dark? there's your answer.

do half and half :) most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference, but half and half would give it a lovely balance :D

Now worries you can use either one or mix'em up even better!
