Ham ~ Mac&cheese: How much to add?!

Question: Ham ~ Mac&cheese: How much to add?
I have a lovely Mac & Cheese recipe which I want to add ham too.
Do I change any of the measurements for the Mac & cheese, (milk, cheese, butter, flour, etc>) or leave the proportions the same with the added ham?
How much ham shall I use per person, 1/4 cup/? 1/2 cup? 2 tablespoons? of ham per person?
Thank you

Answers:

just add in the ham.

You do not have to change any part of your ingredients to add the ham. Chop your ham however you like and add as much or as little as you want. Normal portions are as follows: If this is the main dish, it would be 4 oz per person, if this is a side dish, then it is 1 to 2 oz person (or even less, depending on your other dishes). Hope this helps and good luck with your dish. :)

Leave the recipe as it is.

I would just choip up ham and stir it in. I it look slike it could use more then add more. It really depends on your tastes, adn if you want ham as the meat in the meal so your mach and cheese is more of a one dish meal or if you just wnat ham as an acent for a little flavor and texture.

This is entirely a matter of taste. I'd say at least a tablespoon of finely diced ham per person -- start with that and see what you think.

No matter what you do, some will like it and some won't. I don't like ANY meat in my mac&cheese.

Fix the Mac & Cheese according to direction and add 1/4 cup diced ham per serving.

Don't change anything and just add the ham only!
