If youre making a thin steak, then make everything else first. Get to the point where you only have at most 5 or 6 minutes until you plate the food.
I like to poke holes in my steak with a fork. Rub it with a light coat of worsetershire sauce and then season it and place it in a plastic zippy bag. Let it marinate for a few hours. Put it out of the fridge about 1 hour before cooking to let it get close to room temp.
I like to cook small thin steaks on the stove top. It's easier than on a grill. I heat my skillet until it is good and hot. Put a lil oil in in the bottom and then place the steak on it.
How long you cook it wi depend on how you and the bf like to eat your steak. If rare just cook it on each side for about 60 seconds. If medium rare about 75 seconds on each side. Medium well about 90 second and well done about 2 minutes on each side. These times are for thin steaks ONLY.

steak should be thicker about 1 inch rub with montreal seasoning and either pan fry in olive oil on medium high after pan is smoking a bit or prefer grilling med high about five minutes per side best of luck

Rakeya, I usually make thick steaks not thin ones. The only thin ones I make are for the kids, and they are just minute steak. Follow Mega Moms directions above me, and you will be okay.

Put steak between cling wrap and bash it out thin
Makes it tender too !
As steak is now thin you can fry it really quick as well
Have you thought about serving it with fried onions
or mushrooms or tomatoes or all of them
