Pita Pizzas. Fun for children to make?!

Question: Pita Pizzas. Fun for children to make?
4 pitas( about 4" round); 1 can (7 and one-half oz.); one-half t. dried oregano; one-half t. dried basil; one-fourth pound pepperoni, sliced; 1 c. shredded mozzarella cheese; 2 T. freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Split pitas to make 8 rounds; arrange on large paper towel-lined plates. Combine tomato sauce, oregano and basil; spread about 2 T. over each round. Top with pepperoni; sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Microwave 3 or 4 at a time, uncovered, at Medium-High( 70%) for 4 to 6 minutes or until cheese has melted and sauce is heated through, rearranging halfway through. Repeat with remaining pitas. Makes 8 pita pizzas. ( That's one can of tomato sauce. I accidentially left that out. lol. I'm on a phone.).

Sounds like fun to me. I want chicken and pineapple on mine.

It sounds very fun, but keep in mind that young children really don't enjoy detailed instructions. I'd probably save myself some trouble and buy a jar of sauce or make it ahead of time. Then just chop up some ingredients and put them in bowls and let them go to town putting on what they like.

Heck, we used to do that as adults and it was fun, but we would use the premade pizza crusts.

Personally, I prefer using the oven, but if you don't have an adult that can put the pizzas in the oven, then the microwave makes sense.
