can you make Boston baked beans out of the contents of a tin of Heinz baked beans?!

Question: Can you make Boston baked beans out of the contents of a tin of Heinz baked beans?
Answers:

Quick and Easy Boston Baked Beans

1 can ( I think 22 to 24 oz. size, not the 16
oz. size - next size larger) B & M brand baked
beans)
1 to 1 1/2 Tbl. brown sugar
2 to 3 Tbl. finely chopped onion
1 to 2 tsp. prepared yellow mustard such as
French's
2 slices bacon, halved and cooked halfway
through in the microwzve, if desired(optional)

Mix beans, brown sugar, onion, and mustard well. Pour into a baking dish (1 1/2 qt. pyrex dish, I think ?). Top with halved slices of partially cooked bacon, if desired. Bake for 45 minutes at 325 - 350 degrees F. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. This gives the sauce a chance to cool and thicken a bit before serving. Serve with, hotdogs, Boston Brown Bread and cole slaw. This is a good lunch or not fsncy supper.

of course, isn't that the purpose of canned beans? an easier way to make baked beans? I'm sure that if it says "Cooks Boston Baked Beans" on the front, then you should most likely be able to do just that, bake beans.
