Can I substitute basa fillets for tilapia fillets?!

Question: Can I substitute basa fillets for tilapia fillets?
I am fairly new to cooking fish (my mother hated fish). I can't find very many recipes for basa on my favorite recipe website, and I know I can substitute catfish for basa. I found one for tilapia fillets that looks really good, would it turn out okay with basa instead?

Answers:

Basa IS a type of catfish but substituting really depends on the recipe. It would probably work fine though

I like tilapia rather than cat fish their both tasty because their both fresh water I cook and I also try it when I substitute id in hamour it comes perfectly nice to be pan fried .
