What is a good simple icing recipe?!
I googled it, couldn't really find anything good. I don't want a recipe thaqt includes chocolate, since I can't eat it, and butter wise, it is best to include the least possible. It will go on top of cupcakes so make it good:)

My grandmother's icing remains my favorite despite my penchant for creating many types
Measure 2 cups of confectioners' sugar into a bowl.
Add 2 tablespoons of heavy cream or half & half and whisk until smooth
If you have vanilla extract, add 1/4 teaspoon, or your favorite extract (lemon, orange, peppermint, etc.)
Pour over cupcakes, cake, or brownies and let set until slightly firm
