What should I cook using my new cast iron grill?!

Question: What should I cook using my new cast iron grill?
I LOVE to cook. I'm 29yrs old and I've been cooking since I was 12 yrs old. My mom gave me a cast iron grill as a house warming gift and now I need some recipes. I currently have ground turkey, ground beef, filet mignon, pork chops and chicken breasts in my freezer.

It's suggested that the first few times (6-7) that you use your cast iron you stay away from acidic foods, cook something that has fat in it to really seal in the seasoning. I'd say the pork chops with oil. I made bread in mine, then of course i lathered it in oil and added some stone ground cornbread!
Have fun with your Cast Iron!!
Remember to NEVER use soap in it!

I am 13 and have been cooking since I was 12 too. I'm not sure if I can be much of a help with your question though. Maybe cook the pork chops in some kind of sauce on the grill with corn on the cob? You could cook the chicken breasts on the grill and make sandwiches. Sorry I'm not much of a help, I'm a vegetarian. The only thing I would cook on a grill is veggies and veggie burgers.

Any of those things can be cooked nicely on your cast iron grill. As well as pancakes, grilled sandwiches, Chinese dumplings, and many other things.

Do be certain to season your grill before its first use, just as you would a cast iron skillet. And to oil it LIGHTLY at each use. And to not go crazy with cleaning it as you want it to stay seasoned.

I found this awesome set of recipes. So far, everything I've tried has been great out of this recipe book. Take a look.
