Do I have to add extra sugar to Betty Crocker Devil's food cake mix?!
Hi recently I bought Betty Crocker Devil's food cake mix and French Vanilla cake mix. I am making cake for the first time so, I just need to know whether I have to add extra sugar to the cake mix.

no just follow the directions on the back of the box. usually add eggs and oil and water is all. enjoy!
The back of the box will tell you what you need to add.
Unless you are following another recipe that uses the cake mix as an ingredient everything you need other than eggs, oil, water are included in the box mix.
Sugar should not be necessary.
Check the back for the ingredients needed. I don't think you do, but just check the back.
