How much is one cup???!
Like I don't have any measurements so tell me like what cup I could use around the house to be one cup in cooking terms

if you have a kitchen scale, then you could just weigh out 1/2 lb of water. it's not completely exact, but it is very very close.
If you're cooking things like rice it doesn't matter anyway. Just use the same cup to measure everything, and it is all proportional.
It is 8 fluid ounces. It is 16 tablespoons either liquid or dry measure.
