Can I cook frozen hamburger in the crock pot?!

Question: Can I cook frozen hamburger in the crock pot?
Can I defrost & cook hamburger in my crock pot for spaghetti? Like, defrost & cook it at the same time?

Answers:

you can, but I wouldn't advise. You want to pan fry your hamburger so you can take out the fat. Hamburger should be at 160 degrees (for 3 minutes time) through and through to ensure doneness. THAT'S MINIMUM!
Bon Appetite!

I would recommend against doing that. The frozen meat against the warmer crock has been known to cause the crock to crack. Take the extra time to just defrost the meat in the microwave.

I don't think you would like the outcome....Just defrost the meat and pan fry...that way you can drain all the fat once it is cooked..................

Yes,I remember my mom coking it like that she would but pepper and onions

yes
