Is there any other use for a bag of 30 lemons apart from squeezing them on pancakes and cooking with them?!

Question: Is there any other use for a bag of 30 lemons apart from squeezing them on pancakes and cooking with them?
My mother thought it would be a fantastic idea to buy me a bag of lemons today, (don't ask, she's weird like that)

Anyway, one or two, fine to put on my pancakes but noooooo not my mother! she has to buy me a huge bag of the darn things.

What the hell do i do with them???

Answers:

Give them to kids to suck on, and film it for you tube

Squeeze it on apples and fruit that go brown in the air and this prevents the browning from happening.
If you brush your teeth with pure lemon juice it will whiten them (but if you do it too much it will erode your teeth).
Make a herbal drink: lemon slices and boiling hot water and a teaspoon of honey, this will soothe your throat.
Make a lemon meringue or a lemon drizzle cake or fruit scones (you can use the lemon zest for this one) or a jam or marmalade or lemon ice cream or a lemon sorbet.
Mix fresh lemon juice with full fat milk or natural yogurt and apply wet paste to your face, this will make a facial mask which will harden. Leave it on for 20 mins while having a bath, then peel it off and wash your face and you will have beautiful smooth skin. (Lemon juice can also be used to whiten your skin).
Make lemonade: freshly squeezed lemons, sparkling water, ice cubes and those little umbrella-things :)

We also buy lemons :)

This is SO easy and really nice (also makes a nice gift) - my kids make it for teachers at Xmas :)

Old fashioned lemon cordial

You need:
juice 6 large lemons
grated rind 3 lemons
4 cups sugar
1 tablespoon citric acid
2 teaspoons tartaric acid (you can use epsom salts but I have only ever made it with the acids which act as preservatives)
900ml boiling water

Method:
Juice and grate zest of lemons.

Pour over sugar and acids. Pour over Boiling water and stir until sugar dissolves.

Sit over night - this allows cordial to cool and flavours to develop.
Strain & bottle.

(Makes 4 bottles.)

Serving Suggestion: 1 - 2 tablespoons per glass topped with chilled water or soda.

ALTERNATIVES -
I have also done this using 3 lemons and 3 oranges
Add a bit of mint to mixture

I don't have much more help than what has already been given... But were we separated at birth??? My mom does the same silly crap! When we lived in Alaska she would send cake mixes & boxes of cereal & cans of tuna & all sorts of stuff... she was afraid I couldn't get it there. LOL Moms... they are a piece of cake!

My question & I don't know if you'll see this to answer... on your pancakes?!?!?!?! Really!!! Maple syrup & butter! Never heard of puckering pancakes! LOL

Use them when cooking fish or chicken or put a half one down the garbage disposal to keep it smelling fresh!

You can cut one in half and put it in the dish washer and the acid helps to clean your plates and make them sparkle.

When life gives you lemmons, burn them.

give em to the homeless
