Why is my spaghetti all watery?!

Artistically that might be a nice shot, but the spaghetti would be all stuck together and horrible to eat. Cook your pasta in lots of boiling salted water until it is still firm to the bite (al dente). Drain in a colander but do not over-drain- the pasta should have about a tablespoon of water left on it per serving. Return to the cooking pot and toss with your sauce or a little olive oil and salt.

Depending on how much spaghetti you want to cook, always double or triple the water amount by the spaghetti amount (if it makes sense)
then bring the water to a full boil , add a spoon/drizzle of olive oil and enough sea salt ..
Add your spaghetti but do not break the spaghetti in just slowly try to sink it in the water.
Cook it for no more than 10 minutes on a medium flame.
After those 10 minutes are up drain the spaghetti completely and return it to the empty thing where you cooked it. Add a tea spoon or two or real butter, mix it, and voila, tasty spaghetti :-)
It would also help that you use good quality spaghetti, like BARILLA, or something like that :)
You are overcooking it. Use the directions on the box.
Drain it and wash it in medium water so it doesn't stick and then fluff it with a bit of olive oil.
Drain & rinse through the spaghetti in a colander.

Drain well and under cook it slightly.
