Can hot sauce go bad, and if so, what is the shelf life?!

Question: Can hot sauce go bad, and if so, what is the shelf life?
Answers:

Tabasco has a decent amount of vinegar in it which acts as a preservative in itself as does the acid that comes from the peppers.
Once opened, it has been exposed to air and if not used within a reasonable amount of time - say a year - it won't go 'bad' per se, but the flavor will lose it's punch and the color will darken.

no it can't...... just keep it in the fridge to stay on the safe side.... but yes it may crust and harden on the top just scrape that off.. and you'll be fine

but I am more of a soy sauce sort of guy

hold the soy and just give me the sauce.. thanks!

It lasts forever. If it gets crusty and strange on the top then toss it.

NO THE VINEGAR KEEPS IT FROM GOING BAD
