Im trying to make a Cheesecake but i only have soymilk...?!
Is there some other recipe that i can use?
I have an CRAZY amount of cheesecake and i don't know what to do with it.
Answers:
You don't necessarily need any milk at all:
Graham cracker crust
2 1/2 Blocks Cream Cheese
2 Eggs
2/3 Cup sugar
1 Tbsp Lemon juice
1 tsp Vanilla
All ingredients at room temperature. Cream the cheese & sugar good with a mixer. Add eggs, vanilla & lemon juice. Pour into crust (already toasted). Cook at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Shut off oven, keep door closed for another 15 minutes, then crack door open. Remove cheesecake after door has been cracked open for 10 minutes. Refrigerate 4 hours before serving.
New York Cheesecake:
This the best recipe ever. Follow it exactly as shown. Especially follow the baking instructions!!!
I have used this recipe for years. It is the best one I have ever found.
ONE CHANGE: (I add 3 egg yolks instead of 2)
You don't need milk.

To use up some of that cheese you can make cake pops! 8 oz of cream cheese combined with 1 cake:
1 box of any flavor mix--chocolate is best--baked, cooled and crumbled into a big bowl.
Mash it with your hands until it looks like clay with no lumps of white cheese showing. Pinch off pieces about the size of a ping-pong ball and roll them, let on a sheet pan lined with waxed or parchment paper and chill. Stick a lollipop stick in each one, and dip into melted covering chocolate ("bark" chocolate)--Wilton's makes packages of covering chocolate in many colors. Not the best stuff, but tolerable--real tempered good chocolate is best, but not as easy.
well as long as you have the cream chese then you can make cheesecake. soy milk will be fine but you might want to use less of it.
Many vegan cheesecakes are made with soy milk, it may taste a little different than regular cheesecake but it's all good.
