Can I use rice vinegar instead of white in buttermilk replacement?!

Question: Can I use rice vinegar instead of white in buttermilk replacement?
Hi. I know a common buttermilk replacement is to mix milk (or milk alternative) with white vinegar or lemon juice. I don't have white vinegar, but I do have rice vinegar, and I don't have lemon juice but I do have lime. Would either of those be suitable replacements to the replacement? How much would it impact the recipe?

Answers:

Either acidic will work fine, rice vinegar or lime juice. Good thinking.

Use white vinegar.

Perhaps white vinegar might be an option

I like to use plain yogurt instead of buttermilk or sour cream.
