Why won't my double cream whip?!
The recipe calls for double cream and to whip it until it sorts soft peaks but it is just going all bubbly. I took it straight from the fridge and even open the kitchen door so it is cold in the kitchen but it still won't whip. Even when I use the electric whisk

Very strange. Double Cream that says 'Double Cream' on the label should whip in a couple of minutes if you use a balloon whisk. All I can recommend is--keep whipping, get some air in there with big rapid strokes.
Squeeze a small amount of lemon juice in it. Then whip it.
