how long will home made coleslaw last?!
i will be using fresh veg and a jar of mayonaise.
Answers:
Several day BUT DO NOT ADD SALT it will make more liquid. All salt does is pull the liquid out of the veggie. So just lots of pepper, minimum amount miracle whip, sugar. Toss well. They can add salt at the table and more mayo if they want. Seal in a good tight bowl.
I would guess about three or four days if you keep it in the fridge.
About 20 minutes in my house:)
