How can you make "Just add Water" pancakes taste better?!


Question: How can you make "Just add Water" pancakes taste better?
They taste bland nothing special. i need something OTHER than chocolate chips and blueberries. Maybe something that you put into the mix

-cinnamon
-vanilla extract (always keep some in the house : P makes everything taste delish)
- apple sauce
- apple juice or apple cider
- cocoa powder
-any fruit

These are really easy to make and have a great taste.

Ingredients

* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 tablespoon white sugar
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup milk
* 1 egg
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

1. Preheat a lightly oiled griddle over medium-high heat.
2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Make a well in the center. In a separate bowl, beat together egg, milk and oil. Pour milk mixture into flour mixture. Beat until smooth.
3. Pour or scoop the batter onto the hot griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.



The club soda works. It does make them fluffier and lighter. I like to add crumbled cooked sausage to the pancake while it is cooking. Topped with apple butter they are yummmmmmy.



Replace the water with club soda. The club soda makes nice fluffy pancakes, A little cinnamon is good to



use more mix add melted butter to mix ,buttermilk and eggs.thickness should be near half inch when cooked so make sure there raising .



Cinnamon> fruit



Buy Aunt Jemima Buttermilk complete. They are the best tasting.



Use milk instead of water.



Try adding a little syrup and sugar



bananas and cinnamon
