Recipe calls for tin of Sainsbury's own brand chopped tomatoes- I have a Morrison's one, is it allowed?!

Question: Recipe calls for tin of Sainsbury's own brand chopped tomatoes- I have a Morrison's one, is it allowed?
and will it work/

Answers:

No, it would tear a hole in time its self.

Judging by the fact that it asks for a certain can of tomatoes, it's probably a recipe from the manufacturer itself. Using a different brand/can will make NO difference at all. They usually recommend certain brands to promote sales. Just ignore it went hey ask for certain things. Use whatever tomatoes you like!

You are allowed to use any can of chopped tomatoes, as long as it is chopped. It is their recipe, and expect you to be faithful to it.
But, truth be told,i prefer Morrison's canned tomatoes,to Sainsbury's-its much more watery.

Me,

A tomato is a tomato where ever you get it, use your common sense, its just the supermarket trying to squeeze every ounce of money out of you that it can, which is why I dont trust supermarkets.

It will work exactly the same. Chopped tomatoes are all the same. They are only sayig to use Sainsbury because they are trying to push their own brand.

a chopped tomato is a chopped tomato

yes itll work!

Of course it's allowed and will work just fine. It's still chopped tomatoes in a tin.

i assume its a sainsburys recipe?
yes the morries ones will work just the same
