Can someone invert these to the American way of measurements?!
Here are the measurements -
Ingredients:
For the cake:
All-purpose flour - 265 gms
Castor sugar - 400 gms
Milk - 200 ml
Vegetable oil - 100 ml
Eggs - 3
Cocoa powder (unsweetened) - 65 gms
Baking soda - 1 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Kirschwasser/cherry liquor/cherry brandy - 3 tbsp
For the filling:
Thick whipping cream - 120 ml
Castor sugar - 120 gms
Cherries (canned) - 1 can
Teaspoon vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
Kirschwasser - 1 tbsp
A pinch of salt
Answers:
purpose flour - 265 gms = 1 1/8 cup
Castor sugar - 400 gms = 1 3/4 cup
Milk - 200 ml = 7/8 cup
Vegetable oil - 100 ml = 7/16 cup or 7 tablespoon
Cocoa powder (unsweetened) - 65 gms = 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon
For the filling:
Thick whipping cream - 120 ml = 1/2 cup
Castor sugar - 120 gms = 1/2 cup +2 teaspoon

I know but you coud google all these. I would type something like the following, "265 grams flour in Cups"
That is all that anyone on here would do. And sinvce it is your recipe and you want it done You should do the wor yourself.
And you are CONverting recipes not inverting them.
there is no way to invert grams into cups or mL when your dealing with food just because every substance has a different mass per volume.
