Anyone have any ideas for a 7 course dinner (American) menu?!

Question: Anyone have any ideas for a 7 course dinner (American) menu?
My 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend is coming up and I wanted to surprise him with an extravagant home cooked 7 course American cuisine styled dinner. I'm trying to come up with a menu but am having some trouble coming up with some of the courses. So far I have:

First Course - (a starter... maybe bacon-wrapped pecan-stuffed dates?)
Second Course - Vichyssoise Soup Chilled
Third Course - (a salad? he doesn't like vegetables so something with fruit)
Fourth Course - Lemon Sorbet with mint
Fifth Course- fig and blue cheese stuffed porkloin
Sixth Course - (some kinda cheese and fruit dish?)
Seventh Course - Death by Chocolate

The only thing I'm totally sure on is the 4th, 5th, and 7th dishes. I'm really unsure about what else to serve because I'm have trouble knowing what dishes will compliment each other. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Answers:

First course- Restaurant style Buffalo Chicken wings (appetizer)
Second Course- Vichyssoise soup(chilled) (soup)
Third course-Roquefort Pear Salad(salad)
Fourth course- Lemon Sorbet with mint
Fifth course- fig and blue cheese stuff porkloin (entre)
Sixth course- Elegant cheese and fruit platter
Seventh Course- Death by Chocolate

Kate, I don't see a problem with what you have posted, but please, cut back on the amount of courses. He will get to the third course and be full. Truthfully,I wouldn't be thinking what else to serve, I would be thinking of what to cut back on.

One thing you haven't asked is what wine?

First: Stuffed mushrooms

Third: Prosciutto Wrapped Melon

sixth: salt & pepper watermelon

Third salad course - what about a cold potato salad, pressed into a loaf, decorated with finely chopped herbs and slices of hard boiled egg, and topped with spiced mayonnaise.

Why not just serve 3 or 4 courses. 7 course dinners are Russian Noble!!

I hate to break it ya, but NOTHING on that menu is American cuisine. American is burgers, fries, hot dogs, apple pies, BBQ, Tex-Mex, etc. Americans also don't do 7 course dinners. An ideal multi-course American meal would be:
Appetizer: cheese sticks or fried pickles with ranch
Starter: side salad
Dinner: Hamburgers and Fries or Steak and Baked Potatoes or BBQ Brisket with Potato Salad and cornbread
Dessert: Apple Pie a la mode
you're wayyyyy overthinking your menu, here. American cuisine is simplified, multi-cultural food made with local ingredients. That, and drive-thru :/
