Can i make a strawberry mousse cake with fondant cover without any problems?!

Question: Can i make a strawberry mousse cake with fondant cover without any problems?
any tips and suggestions .... im making a vanilla cake with 2 layers of mousse can i cover it with fondant? of course the mousse wont touch the fondant on top just a little on the side

Answers:

I wouldn't have thought a cake with layers of mousse would be able to carry the weight of fondant icing. Just a thought: could you put the fondant on top of the top layer BEFORE you build up the cake? Have the fondant cover the top and hang down the sides long enough to cover the whole cake, then just gently place it on top and even more gently press the "hanging" fondant onto the sides?

Never actually tried it ...

I don't know, can you? Mine always collapse. Good luck.
