Can I make a milkshake with.....?!

Question: Can I make a milkshake with.....?
I have no chocolate ice cream, syrup or anything, but I have the bitterly harsh Hershey Cocoa Powder. Can i make a good shake outta this? I have milk, vanilla extract, all the other goods. thank you!

Answers:

Yes, Hershey Cocoa is bitter chocolate.

Why not make your own syrup?
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup Hershey Cocoa
1/2 cup water
pinch of salt

stir sugar, salt and cocoa together in deep micro safe bowl until no lumps of cocoa are seen. Stir in water a little at a time until it is a paste, finish stirring in water.
microwave 1 minute at a time stirring between until it is all dissolved.
stir in 1/2 cup milk if you like.and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

allow to cool and bottle or put in zip lock box or other fridge container.

Use it like you would chocolate syrup.

Well, if you wanna make a milkshake..
I recommend smothies because they're sooo good! and + they're healthy!
but a milkshake, you'll have to .. buy like... uh.. food tasting? or something,
and put milk if you wanna add Ice it'll taaste better!
If this didn't really help..
search google for cooking tips or any of that just type:
How To Make A Milkshake
Or Cooking Websites :) that'll help!

Yes!!! Nice. If you can mix it with milk, it's a milk shake. It's a lot better with ice cream though - do you have any vanilla ice cream? If not then ultra chilled milk is sufficient.

Edit: Oh yeah, mix the cocoa powder into a paste with hot water first.

make a chocolate sauce 1st than use it to make a choc. shake......take 1 cup sugar ....4 TBS. cocoa powder and 1/4 C. milk and cook on medium heat it will cook into a choc . syrup and will work fine for using in your shake!! Good luck and Enjoy!!!

You can make chocolate-vanilla milk, but without ice cream it won't be thick and, well, milkshake-y. You need ice cream to really make it!

Here's an article I posted. http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Milkshake-…

I tried to make some chocolate milk with that... I wouldn't recommend it. It didn't mix well or even blen in. It stayed on top and all it did was have me coughing up hairballs and chocking for like half an hour.

Forget about the cocoa powder, it won't blend in. Use the vanilla extract and make a vanilla shake.

As long as you use the right amount im pretty sure its possible :) Unfortunately i dont have any of that stuff so i cant give you any measurements :P
