How can extend the life of parsley and other culinary herbs?!


Question: How can extend the life of parsley and other culinary herbs?
I have immersed parsley bottom in a pot fill of water like a pot of flowers but it didn't work˙.
Should I add some nutriment in that water? please help

Answers:

If they are fresh, you can always freeze them. Just make sure that when you do, you spread them out evenly, once they are chopped, on a baking sheet. Put in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Once frozen you can put them in a ziploc bag or any airtight container and place back in the freezer. Remove herbs desired as needed. By freezing them on the baking sheet, you prevent water from crystalizing between the herbs.



I just put them in zip lock bags iin bottom of fridge for a couple of days. Longer than that, spread on cookie sheet and dry them in 200 oven for an hour or two then bottle and put lid on.
