Original Recipe Yield 1 -9 x 13 inch cake

* 3 cups all-purpose flour
* 2 cups white sugar
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 2 teaspoons baking soda
* 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 3/4 cup vegetable oil
* 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 2 cups cold water
Directions
1. Sift flour, sugar, salt, soda, and cocoa together into a 9 x 13 inch ungreased cake pan. Make three wells. Pour oil into one well, vinegar into second, and vanilla into third well. Pour cold water over all, and stir well with fork.
2. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 40 minutes, or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean. Frost with your favorite icing.

Ingredients:
1 box Betty Crocker? SuperMoist? yellow cake mix
1/4 cup Gold Medal? all-purpose flour
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 bag (8 oz) milk chocolate-coated toffee bits
1 can (13.4 oz) dulce de leche (caramelized sweetened condensed milk)
Sweetened whipped cream, if desired
Caramel topping, if desired
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Spray bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan with baking spray with flour.
2. In large bowl, beat cake mix, flour, water, oil and eggs with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in 1/2 cup of the toffee bits. Pour into pan.
3. Reserve 1/2 cup dulce de leche. Spoon remaining dulce de leche by teaspoonfuls onto batter.
4. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes. Drop reserved dulce de leche by spoonfuls over top of cake and spread evenly. Get a box of cake mix. Then you will just need eggs and oil.
Frosting is just lots of room temperature butter beat into powdered sugar and then you can add a flavor extract like vanilla or food coloring if you want. You can also make a cream cheese or a whipped cream based frosting.
I recommend buying the cake mix and making the frosting from scratch.
