white cabbage need to type in number?!
In Tesco self checkout, for a white cabbage, we need to type in the number, instead of pressing an icon, why? Is a cabbage a fruit?

The cabbage is a vegetable, and it is probably typed because there wasn't an icon for it when programmed into the computer.
That would need to be addressed at the store as it will not be a regular thing.
Suggest you don't use the self checkout; then the person on the checkout has to solve the problem.
Life is too short for this - I would have just left it behind.....
Those self check out things are bizarre and doing someone out of a job. Identifying a cabbage takes human brains, so go to the normal check out next time.
