Answers:
Yes there is a difference but only in the way it is cooked! One is a little runnier than the other. Over easy has been flipped over in the skillet & SS up has been cooked slower and are bright yellow. Sometimes the white is a little soft around the yolk if not cook properly. The SSup grosses some people out cause of the way it looks raw.

The difference is what you tell the doctors when they treat you for salmonella food poisoning.
"I got sick and I'm going to pay thousands of dollars in medical bills because I ate:
A) undercooked FRIED eggs with salmonella, or
B) undercooked SUNNY SIDE up eggs with salmonella."
Hens that are infected with salmonella bacteria will lay eggs containing the bacteria, and there's no need for any additional contamination to pass the bacteria on to you through undercooked eggs.

An egg is an egg. However a fried egg is cracked and cooked on both sides. A sunny side up egg is lightly cooked. Basically, the white of the egg is cooked and the yolk (yellow) is still raw.
They are both still eggs, it is just the way they are cooked that is different.
Basically the same thing. With a fried egg you flip it over so both sides are cooked, with sunny side up you don't flip, so that the yolks stay nice and yellow and not so cooked.
I think of fried and sunny-side up as the same thing. If you flip them, then they're called over-easy (or over hard, or over medium, depending on how done you like your yolks)
They are the same thing.
An egg fried with the yolk still soft and unbroken is called Sunny Side up.
