I bought a takeout dinner yesterday & saved the black beans, rice & the corn on the cob.
It comes on like a toothpick.

Put a pot of water on, add a little salt and wait til it boils. Put the cob in it - toothpick and all - for about 3 min. Have some butter out and ready for it to be rolled in.
Plunge it into nearly boiling water for 4 - 6 minutes.
Sprinkle a little water over it and zap it in the microwave until warm.
