How many Snickers bars in a cup?!

Question:

How many Snickers bars in a cup?

I'd like to try making brownies with chopped up Snickers bars inside, but am having difficulty estimating how many of the regular-sized bars I'd need. Any idea how many bars it would take, chopped into pieces, to measure one cup?

Answers:
okay - according to the answer above the king size is the size of a stick of butter. But TWO sticks of butter equal a cup : > I would say 2 or 2 1/2 bars would do it... its sounds really good! I think you should post the recipe!! : >

i would guess 2 bars,maybe 3 at a push?

one snickers bar is 2 oz. And there are 8 oz in a cup...

A single "king size" bar is roughly the size of a stick of butter (one cup).
That's by volume.
For a more exact measurement, take a two-cup measuring cup and fill it with one cup of water. Add chopped candy to bring the level to two cups, and then pour off the water.
Cheers.

there is 2 oz in a candy bar a cup is 8 oz so i guess 4 but there are larger bars so 8 oz
korkie

I have done them with mars, so one chopped mars bar is almost half a cup. So for snickers, you'll need almost 2, maybe two and a half for one cup.

Mmmm..Snickers bars.

You actually only need 2 bars, however, I would definately go for the 3....I mean really we are talking Snickers bars...can you ever get enough????

about 2 1/2, eat the other half..

i think it depends on how many brownies ur making

You'd need 4.
