Does chicken go well with squash?!

Question:

Does chicken go well with squash?

I have a TON of yellow squash I need to use up and am having chicken for dinner.Ur opinion?

Answers:
Make shish kabobs. Put squash and any other vegetables in a bag with some zesty italian dressing and let marinate. Put chicken in a separate bag and add the same kind of dressing. Later, put them on skewers and grill or put in the oven. YUMMY!

Chicken goes well with anything because it is so bland. Go for it.

Chicken goes well with anything...

Yeah, it goes. But cook them separate and eat them together.

Funny, I just had fried chicken and steamed, yellow sqash for lunch. It was good. It was leftover from the night before. We had chicken, yellow squash, corn on the cob and salad.

I think absolutely! Go for it, there are numerous Mediterranean/Baltic dishes with squash and chicken, why not as a side too?

try grilling the squash with a little bit of olive oil...yummy.

There is nothing wrong with having squash and chicken at the same time. If you have kids complaining about it, let them go hungry. What mommy makes is what everyone eats--and they are thankful!

I have yet to find a dish that does not go with chicken. You could even stuff the bird with squash and herbs.

Sounds yummy to me - love chicken and love squash!

chicken would be great with squash. Use your imagination you can cook chicken for a long time in a good tomato sauce add some other veggies in addition to the squash and maybe put it over white or brown rice. You could also sautee the chicken with some garlic, s/p and other seasonings, then sautee some veggies in addition to squash (maybe some orange or yellow peppers) and once everything is in the pan you can add some low sodium chicken broth (not too much you don't want to make soup) and some grated cheese.
