I want to know if anybody knows how to make Tomato/Macroni Soup?
What kind of tomatoes do you use and whatelse goes into the soup other then Tomatoes and Macaroni?

Macaroni, Beef and Tomato Soup
20 servings 40 min 20 min prep
3 lbs lean ground beef
6 medium onions, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
4 (28 ounce) cans tomatoes (I use diced tomatoes.)
2 (10 ounce) cans tomato soup
10-15 cups beef broth
3-4 cups uncooked macaroni
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Saute ground beef, onions and celery.
Add salt, pepper and tomatoes, tomato soup, beef broth, macaroni and worcestershire sauce.
Bring to a boil then simmer for 18 minutes.
Divide into containers and freeze if so desired.
I have been eating mac&toms since I can first remember and this is the way my great-grandma made it. I still eat this with my grandma today:-)
1 cup macaroni
1 can diced tomatoes
4 slices of bacon
Cook macaroni til adente. Meanwhile fry bacon in a skillet for about 5 min (bacon will still be kinda soft)and chop. When macaroni is done, drain all but a cup and a half of water in the pot. Add tomatoes and bacon. Cover and simmer for about 20-30 min. We sprinkle onion-salt and cracked pepper on top of the mac&toms after they are done. YUMMY. Glad I got some bacon.....
