Reciepes for Chicken?!

Question:

Reciepes for Chicken?

What are some good reciepes for chicken I can make in 30 minutes or less. I am not an expert cook so the less steps the easier. Variety would be nice. Can u think of any reciepes w/out pasta?

Answers:
Get some fit n' easy perdue chicken, sprinkle it with lemon pepper, then cover it in flavored bread crumbs and cook it either on a george forman grill or in a frying pan w/ butter. Frying pan is better because you can throw veggies in with it, there is your meal.

30 minute meals.....

There are plenty recipes here: (just type in "chicken" in the search box. Or just go to this website: http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/cat/80/...

I just posted this in another thread but it's a good one...

Pound a couple of chicken breasts thin...one per person (put it between 2 layers of plastic wrap first so you don't have it flying all over the place). Brush with olive oil and sprinkle some balsamic vinegar on top, a little bit of salt and cracked pepper.

Cook in a frying pan about 3 minutes each side, or until it's cooked through.

Serve with a baked potato (which you can do in the microwave) and salad or steamed asparagus

Make a grilled chicken salad.
Grill some chicken breasts (one per person or a little less) on a grill, in a frying pan or under the broiler. Season it a little, salt and pepper, etc.

While it's cooking, make a big tossed salad with your favorite salad fixings. When the chicken's done, cut it in cubes and toss it with the salad. This is especially nice with ranch or vinaigrette dressing.

You can have a side of some kind of grain if you like, buttered whole wheat bread or some crispy crackers would do it for me.

Good luck!

Teryaki chicken & veggies on rice:
cut up chicken breasts & toss in frying pan with teryaki sauce (maybe add a little szechuan for spice). when chicken is mostly cooked, toss in fresh or defrosted from frozen veggies (pineapple optional). maybe add a little more teryaki sauce if there isn't much left at this point. cook a few minutes, then serve on top of cooked white rice.

Go to allrecipes.com , there you will find alot of chicken recipes without pasta..

Good Luck...

mix together :
ranch salad dressing -about 1/2 cup
2 T. BBQ sauce
1 t. spicey mustard
spread on chicken, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake till juices run clear. then broil for a few min. or until coating turns "gooey".

Try this. It's delicious and all you really need is a frying pan.

Easy Chicken Marsala (serves 4)

4 chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2 inch thickness
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
black pepper
1 tbsp. olive oil (or veg. oil)
1 tbsp. butter
1 pkg. sliced mushrooms (I like baby portobello, but you can use whatever)
1/2 c. marsala wine
1/2 c. chicken broth
1 c. heavy cream

Combine flour, oregano, salt, and pepper in a gallon size ziploc bag. Shake until combined, then add in the chicken pieces, shaking well after you add each piece.

Heat the oil and butter together in a frying pan over medium heat. When the pan is hot and the butter is melted, shake the excess flour off the chiken and add the chicken to the pan. Cook chicken until nicely browned, or about 5 minutes on each side. Then add in the mushrooms. When the mushrooms are beginning to brown, add the wine and chicken broth to the pan. Simmer uncovered for 5-10 minutes, or until about half the liquid has evaporated. Then slowly add in the cream. Cook for another 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce is just thickened.

I like to serve this with garlic mashed potatoes or baked potatoes.

Enjoy!
