I have a cooking question?!
I have a cooking question?
Okay, this probably sounds dumb, but I am just wondering if there is a way to make spaghetti but for one person? if so, how? how much noodles would be just enough for one person? or is spaghetti a meal that can only be made for more than one person?

Spaghetti is an excellent meal to make for one person!
If you have a 16 ounce box, I would boil about 1/4 of it. Just eyeball it and boil in the manner the box says. (Probably in a pot of salted boiling water for about 9 minutes). The leftover noodles are excellent the next day when you chop them a bit and put into an omelet. Sounds yucky, but really, really good!
i boil about a sixth of a pound for one person, boil until its done but still got some bite to it, nothing is worse than swollen soggy noodles.....add salt and oil to the water before you add the spag, and make sure the water is to a rolling boil first.............
Sure! About 4 oz. per serving, and a cup of sauce. Or double it and have leftovers the next day.
I usually make about 1/4 lb. per person. But if you make too much you can reheat it the next day by putting it in a colander and running it under hot water for a few minutes or reheat it in the microwave for a few minutes. Most bottles of sauce that you buy are too big for 1 person also. But it is reheatable also or freezable in individual servings. I use freezer ziploc bags(sandwich size) and flatten them out while squeezing out any extra air pockets. That way I can take out 1 or 2 if I have company. The flattened bags store nicely in the freezer without taking up a lot of space. The noodles will freeze too. Make sure you lable everything so you know what it is later.
PASTA FOR ONE AS RIDICULOUS? NO, No, NO!
In just about any store you can get a flat disk with holes in it that are meant for measure the amount of pasta needed for each number of servings. They usually run $2-$4.
But, honestly, try to see if you can just grasp some and cook it up. Fried spaghetti (use a copper bottom pan, not the non-stick kind and some margarine....let it brown a little, toss it around and chop up with a spatula- honestly, you will love!) is my favorite left over! Left over past also heats up easily in the microwave....maybe add a few tablespoons of sauce if you have leftovers to keep it from drying out!
If you make too many noodles, you can fry them up in some garlic and olive oil, stir in some eggs, put it in the oven. it comes out a frittata; you put some of your leftover sauce over it, and some cheese. Now you have a whole second meal.
I would say 100-150g is enough. If you are dieting the 75g.
You can cook spaghetti for one person. No probs.
